Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Childcare Practitioner/Nanny to join our growing team of nannies and provide regular care for one of our lovely clients’ children.
This is a consistent, part-time position caring for the same child each week, making it ideal for someone looking to build a strong and trusting relationship with the family.
Hours
Tuesday & Thursday9:00am – 5:00pm16 hours per week
Pay
£15.00 per hour
Role Responsibilities
- Providing safe, nurturing and attentive care throughout the day
- Planning age-appropriate activities, play and outings
- Supporting the child’s routines, development and wellbeing
- Preparing light meals and snacks where required
- Maintaining a safe and engaging environment
- Communicating professionally with the child’s parent and the Little Arks team
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a childcare setting
- Paediatric First Aid qualification, or willingness to complete this
- Enhanced DBS and willingness to subscribe to the DBS Update Service
- Suitable childcare references
- Reliable, professional and confident working independently with a family
Previous nannying experience is not essential, providing you have at least two years’ experience working within a childcare environment.
