Bluezone Scientific are hiring for a Laboratory Analyst to join their existing team!
Key Responsibilities
- Analysis of waters for a range of chemical and microbiological parameters
- Preparation and analysis of samples in line with client and regulatory requirements
- Maintenance of quality control in compliance with quality systems
- Calibration and maintenance of equipment
- Ensuring adherence to all SOPs and regulatory guidance
- Identification and escalation of any sources of non-compliance to the Laboratory Manager
- Ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced
- Keep equipment in a clean and serviceable condition and ensure the safe removal of waste.
- Follow and ensure strict safety procedures and adequate checks
- Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments
The person
Education/Experience
- Degree educated in a scientific discipline - or equivalent
- Previous experience in a Microbiology or Chemistry Laboratory
- Experience of analysing Legionella
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 (desirable)
