Drainage Contracts Supervisor

Job Overview
Drainage Contracts Supervisor required to join an established team responsible for delivering a variety of drainage activities across the county of Surrey.
What will the role involve?
Day to day support and management of crews and vehicles ensuring all works are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
- Brief staff and deliver tool box talks
- Create job packs
- Support operations crews with technical issues
- Monitor and maintain dewatering bay
- Undertake site safety and quality audits
- Undertake joint audits with clients
- Perform periodic equipment and vehicle audits
- Work closely with the depot management team to deliver works and to meet programme
- Quantifying and ordering materials and plant
- Ensure operatives attending training when allocated to do so
What we are looking for?
- Prior experience in a drainage and highways environment
- Prior experience of using combination units, jet vacs and gully trucks
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Participation in 'Duty Manager' rota
- Experience of Chapter 8 and Traffic Management
- Experience of managing a directly employed workforce
- Telehandler Operator (desirable)
