Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate time served baker to join our team in Dundee.
As a baker at Murdoch Allan, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked products, ensuring you meet the standards and quality our customers expect. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment, whilst maintaining excellent food safety throughout the production process.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and bake a range of products including rolls and bakery products
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality in all baked items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery area in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with bakery staff to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role within the culinary field
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to food preparation and production.
- Familiarity with various baking techniques and equipment used in a bakery environment .
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards and quality.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- A passion for baking and creating delicious products that delight customers.
