In this role, you'll work alongside experienced heating engineers to assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems in both commercial and residential settings. Duties
- Assist with the installation, servicing, and repair of heating systems, including boilers and radiators
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to assemble and fit components
- Support plumbing tasks such as pipe fitting, soldering, and leak repairs
- Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials to ensure timely project progress
- Help with welding tasks when required, following safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site
- Follow instructions from senior team members to ensure safety standards are met during all operations
- Role involves working away from Glasgow
Experience
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems or plumbing is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry skills is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with basic math for measurements and calculations related to installation tasks
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or ability to obtain one is a plus
- Prior experience in construction or trades-related roles is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
