Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating CNC machinery. This role is crucial for ensuring precision in the manufacturing process, and the successful applicant will be responsible for producing high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Duties
- Operate CNC milling machines and lathes to produce parts according to specifications.
- Assemble components using hand tools and machinery, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
- Conduct regular maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations.
- Perform quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments.
- Collaborate with team members in the warehouse for materials handling and inventory management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling and machine operation.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and machinery.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and basic maths for measurement calculations.
- Experience with welding techniques is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Previous experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting is beneficial.
