Job Summary

Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in young children
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive interactions among children
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, needs, and any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of children's development milestones and daily activities
- Lead and support fellow staff members through mentorship and collaborative teamwork
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including hygiene standards and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide both children and team members effectively
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and colleagues clearly
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with energy, patience, and enthusiasm
- Valid childcare certification or relevant nursery experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license is advantageous for transportation needs or community outreach activities
