HR Administrator & Recruitment Assistant
15 hours per week (Part-time)
£11,700 per annum / £15 per hour
Office-based in Ringwood
The Stable Family Home Trust (SFHT) is a registered charity that supports people with a learning disability, through the provision of a residential home, seven supported living homes, and day services delivered from sites in Christchurch, Ringwood and Southbourne. Our day services offer a wide range of activities and opportunities that support the development of skills, improve confidence and self-esteem, and enable our service users to live their best lives.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated HR Administrator & Recruitment Assistant to join our busy and varied HR Department.
About the Person:
We are looking for someone who is pro-active and organised with the ability to prioritise their own workload with minimal supervision. With a friendly and compassionate approach, you will be an enthusiastic, friendly and diligent person who is able to empathise with others whilst acting professionally and be willing to go the extra mile to support the work of the Trust.
This position is varied and fast paced, so you must be able to manage and keep track of a range of HR related administration tasks at one time. This opportunity will suit a proactive individual with excellent organisational and attention to detail skills who has the ability to prioritise their own workload.
You will be a confident communicator at all levels and have a professional, respectful nature with the ability to always remain discreet and confidential.
HR administration and recruitment experience, ideally within the care sector, is essential to be successful in this position.
About the Role:
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for general HR-related queries from staff team members, be responsible for organising our recruitment processes from application stage to the onboarding of new employees and will also work collaboratively with our Finance team to support payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support with general administrative tasks to support the Head of HR. This may include employee relations work and other aspects of HR delivery.
- Manage recruitment processes from advertising through to onboarding new staff, including pre-employment checks.
- Be the first point of contact for employees with HR queries
- Organise and maintain personnel records for all employees
- Support absence management processes.
- Support Head of HR with HR reporting for CEO and Trustees
- Help deliver special projects
