We are seeking a skilled and passionate Beautician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service while delivering a range of beauty treatments. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills, as you will be responsible for enhancing the appearance and well-being of our clients. You will also play a vital role in managing the front desk and promoting our services through social media.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality beauty treatments, including makeup application, eyelash extensions, deep tissue massage, and barbering services.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by ensuring clients feel welcomed and valued during their visits.
- Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and maintaining an organised reception area.
- Promote additional services through effective upselling techniques to enhance client experience and satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the salon environment.
- Engage with clients on social media platforms to promote services, share updates, and build community relationships.
- Stay updated with the latest beauty trends and techniques to provide clients with informed recommendations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Beautician or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Experience in front desk management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with social media management for promotional purposes is preferred.
- Skills in upselling services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Proficiency in various beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, deep tissue massage, barbering, and makeup application.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.
- A valid beauty therapy qualification or certification is required.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £12.00-£18.00 per hour
