Responsibilities
- Perform professional hair colouring services, including highlights, balayage, ombré, and corrective colour treatments with precision and creativity.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired outcomes and provide expert recommendations tailored to their hair type and lifestyle.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation, safety, and salon cleanliness throughout all procedures.
- Engage with clients at the front desk to schedule appointments, upsell additional services such as makeup application or eyelash extensions, and ensure a smooth client flow.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in colouring, barbering, or other styling skills to foster team growth.
- Assist with retail product recommendations to enhance colour results and promote salon offerings effectively.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair colour techniques and industry innovations to continually refine your craft.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Colourist with strong technical skills in various colouring techniques.
- Knowledge of store management principles is a plus for coordinating appointments and inventory.
- Ability to perform barbering services and makeup application is desirable to offer comprehensive beauty solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients confidently and understand their needs clearly.
