We are seeking an experienced Nurse Qualified Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of care homes supporting individuals with complex needs, including mental health conditions, complex dementia, nursing requirements, DoLS-related care, and behaviours that challenge.
This role requires a proven operational leader who has progressed through the care home sector, with previous experience as a Registered Manager and a successful track record operating at multi-site level. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of services, ensuring exceptional standards of care, compliance, and performance.
Provide operational oversight across a portfolio of care homes in London and Bedfordshire
Support and develop Home Managers to achieve excellence in care delivery
Drive CQC compliance and continuous quality improvement
Monitor occupancy, budgets, staffing, and overall operational performance
Lead safeguarding, governance, and risk management processes
Support services caring for residents with complex dementia, mental health needs, nursing requirements, and behaviours that challenge
Implement service improvement initiatives and operational best practice
Build strong relationships with residents, families, professionals, and regulatory bodies
Support homes through periods of change, growth, and transformation
Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) qualification is essential
Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a nursing or residential care home
Current or recent experience as an Operations Manager
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, governance, and quality frameworks
Experience supporting services with complex dementia, mental health, and nursing needs
Proven ability to improve performance across multiple homes
Commercially aware with experience managing budgets, occupancy, and service performance
Strong leadership skills with a hands-on and supportive management style
A track record of successfully supporting and developing Home Managers
Salary of £70,000 - £80,000
