Are you looking for an opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic Treasury & Capital Markets function, supporting the delivery of high-profile transactions that directly support business growth and strategic objectives?
We're seeking a talented and commercially minded Capital Markets Manager to join our Treasury & Capital Markets team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure across wholesale funding activities and strategic capital markets initiatives within a lean, fast-paced and collaborative environment.
You'll play an important role in helping us deliver the Group's capital markets and secured wholesale funding strategy, working with stakeholders across Treasury, Finance, Risk, Operations and external counterparties including key service providers. Whether supporting transaction execution, building analytical tools or enhancing collateral management processes, your work will have a direct impact on the bank's funding strategy and market presence.
Please note this position is a Fixed Term Contract for a period of 12 months and can be based either in our London or Wolverhampton office
What you will be doing?:
As a Capital Markets Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering robust analysis, driving process improvements and supporting the successful execution of secured and unsecured wholesale funding and capital markets activities. Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the execution of capital markets transactions through insightful analysis and recommendations

Assisting in the management of collateral pools across the Bank of England and other secured funding facilities, monitoring performance, eligibility and utilisation

Supporting secured funding programmes and capital markets projects, including transaction readiness activities and stakeholder engagement

Supporting collateral forecasting through the development and maintenance of associated models and reporting

Developing and enhancing models, automated tools and reporting solutions to support decision making, efficiency and data quality

Producing historical portfolio performance analysis and data submissions for external stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery

Maintaining robust governance and controls, ensuring processes are completed in accordance with internal policies

Contributing to strategic Treasury and Capital Markets initiatives while supporting colleagues across the team

Do you have the skills?:
We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:
- Previous work experience in Capital Markets as a Senior Analyst within Financial Services is essential

Strong knowledge of Capital Markets or Structured Finance is necessary, as well as mortgage lending and associated markets

A degree in Maths, Finance or Economics is preferred
