Italia Conti Associates Peterborough has an open teaching role. We are looking for a Singing Teacher to join our team of high-quality teachers at ICAP! We are searching for a dynamic teacher with a good knowledge of technique in the fundamentals of singing. Specific qualifications and experience of working with young people are not required for this position, but are an advantage. If you do not have one, you will be required to obtain an enhanced DBS certificate and sign up to the Update Service. (Full support and guidance is given in this)
The right people for these roles:
- Have a good knowledge of singing technique.
- Are able to inspire and lead classes of young students.
- Can create a general plan and structure for the term.
- Are interested in the development of every student.
- Are responsible, hard-working and engaging.
Classes run from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays, with a view to expand this in the future.
Candidates must follow the requirements of the role on the Indeed description, including that the candidate MUST be local or able to commute to the role consistently. Anyone not able to meet the role requirements will not move to the interview stage.
We hold strict policies regarding safeguarding for children, as well as safety for staff in anti-bullying and whistleblowing policies in place.
