Responsibilities
- Supervise daily food preparation and cooking activities to ensure consistency and quality.
- Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a cohesive team environment.
- Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Coordinate food production schedules to meet service demands efficiently.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating innovative culinary techniques.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimise waste.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to company standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain a positive working environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication within the kitchen team.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a food production or hospitality setting.
- Ideal opportunity for an experienced Chef de partie looking to progress their career.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Previous restaurant or catering experience is highly desirable.
