Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a high standard of presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately using basic maths skills.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanour.
- Capability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A team player who is willing to help colleagues as needed.
- Able To work Evenings and Weekends
