We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager - Mechanical to lead engineering services across a complex healthcare environment, ensuring safe, compliant and high-performing estates delivery.
You'll take ownership of engineering operations, leading teams to deliver planned and reactive maintenance while supporting critical clinical services. This is a senior leadership role where your expertise will shape strategy, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement across the estate.
Role Responsibilities:-
Lead and manage engineering maintenance and estates services, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and HTMs/HBNs

Oversee PPM, lifecycle planning and risk management to minimise disruption to clinical operations

Act as Authorised Person / Lead Authorised Person and ensure safe systems of work are followed

Build strong relationships with internal teams, NHS stakeholders and external partners

Drive performance, continuous improvement and value for money across engineering services
Required Qualifications:-
Relevant engineering/FM qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, IWFM or equivalent)

Significant experience in a senior technical leadership role within FM or healthcare environments

Strong knowledge of compliance, engineering standards and safe systems of work
