Congham Hall is a privately owned 31 bedroom Hotel, located in rural North Norfolk which holds the AA’s Four Red Star status. We are seeking a talented and loyal individual support to support our Food and Beverage Manager in running a busy 2 Rosette restaurant and bar.
The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for ensuring that there is effective management on the floor, making sure the team are fully trained in all aspects of the restaurant and bar and that each service runs smoothly. Guest feedback must be handled effectively and professionally to ensure that guests receive a positive dining experience. The post holder will be required to recruit team members and lead by example by adopting a hands-on approach and 'can do’ attitude.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager with a proven track record of delivering a high level of service in a quality, fast-paced hotel and restaurant environment.
You must be customer service focused and committed to providing a helpful, friendly service, have good verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail. You will be leading the team from the front and setting an example at all times. The ability to prioritise your workload is a must. An individual with a pro-active stance towards problem solving, who displays a positive attitude and calmness under pressure is exactly what we are looking for. Previous experience managing a team is essential.
This job is on a rota basis which includes working evenings and weekends, which as you would expect in our industry will include bank holidays and Christmas etc.
