Summary
We are looking for a Trade Store Assistant to join our busy team.
This role is primarily responsible to serve customers in store, as well as general housekeeping such as checking goods in, stocking up and cleaning in the store and warehouse. Occasionally situations may arise that require the post holder to perform other duties or tasks as requested by the Trade Store Manager.
Trade Store Assistant Responsibilities:
· Serving customers at the Trade Counter while undertaking accurate cash and card transactions.
· Picking goods for customers collecting
· Ensuring a well-stocked and tidy Trade Counter
· Housekeeping of the Trade Store/Warehouse
· Always adhering to the Health and Safety policies and procedures, supporting the Trade Store Manager with the H&S commitments to the Company.
· Assisting the Trade Store Manager with stock takes
· Checking off deliveries/stock transfers and putting into stock
· Completing relevant paperwork to ensure accurate stock control
Trade Store Assistant Requirements:
· Construction Industry Experience would be an advantage
· Full UK Driving Licence
· Counterbalance Forklift Licence
· Good interpersonal teamwork, collaboration skills and Safe Handling Awareness.
· IT Literate
· Previous face to face customer service experience/ strong communication skills.

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
