Duties
- Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials.
- Providing excellent patient care by explaining procedures, offering reassurance, and ensuring patient comfort throughout treatments.
- Maintaining strict infection control protocols and sterilising equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Managing patient records accurately using IT systems and updating treatment notes as required.
- Preparing treatment rooms before appointments, including setting up instruments and materials needed for procedures.
- Supporting administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient correspondence, and maintaining the cleanliness of the clinical environment.
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards within the practice.
Skills
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards patients of all ages.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and appointment scheduling systems.
