Arbor Restaurant holds 2 AA Rosettes and the Gold award for Dorset Tourism Best Restaurant. We offer well cooked, honest, uncomplicated but imaginative food. We are passionate about sourcing both classic and new ingredients, to create inspired seasonal menus. Arbor has a modern, informal atmosphere with seating for 40 covers. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff deliver unfussy service to accommodate simple dinners to weddings and private events. Arbor and the Green House hotel currently hold numerous BAHA recognition awards 2025 / 2026, DMB Dorset Small Hotel Gold 2025 / 2026, Dorset Tourism Best Small Hotel of the Year Silver 2025 / 2026 and the Sustainable Luxury Award 2023 / 2024.
Successful candidates will need to:
- Support the F&B Manager in staff management and scheduling
- Work effectively to reach budget goals and payroll targets
- Develop new team members with structured training
- Ensure guests receive a warm and personalised welcome
- Enhance guest satisfaction
- Handle guest comments and complaints, ensuring follow-up
- Develop close relationships with guests to encourage loyalty
- Be passionate about food and anticipate customer needs
- Be excited to work with fresh and local produce
- Have excellent communication skills to include all departments
- Be enthusiastic, passionate with a positive attitude
- Have proven track record in reputable restaurants
