Registered Manager — Domiciliary Care (New Branch Start-Up)

SureCare has delivered high-quality care in people's own homes since 1994. SureCare Central Hampshire is a brand-new venture — no existing care packages, no inherited team, no bad habits to unpick. We're looking for the Registered Manager who wants to build a service properly, from the first care plan to a name the town recommends.
You'll work directly with the Director, with the autonomy to make it yours and a national brand behind you.
What you'll be doing
- Registering with CQC and leading the service towards Good or Outstanding
- Recruiting, training and leading a care and office team you choose yourself
- Winning the work: local authority commissioners and brokerage, GPs, hospital discharge teams, community groups and private enquiries
- Owning assessments, care planning, reviews, audits and safeguarding
- Running the branch as a profit centre — budget, KPIs and growth targets
Start-up reality — please read this bit
This is a genuine build, not an established branch. In the early months you'll be visibly hands-on: covering calls when needed, carrying the on-call phone yourself before supervisors and coordinators are in post, and turning your hand to non-regulated work while the service finds its feet.
What you'll need
- Registered Manager, Deputy or Care Manager experience in CQC-regulated domiciliary care
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care — held, or willing to work towards with our funding and support
- Sound knowledge of the Fundamental Standards, safeguarding and the Mental Capacity Act
- Eligibility and willingness to register with CQC and complete the fit-person interview
- Confident communicator — you'll be the face of this service locally
- Full UK driving licence and vehicle; local Hampshire knowledge is a real advantage
