We pride ourselves on providing exceptional experiences for our lodge owners, holidaymakers, and campers. To keep our park looking pristine and functioning perfectly, we need a dedicated Maintenance Operative.
The Role
You will play a vital role in the day-to-day upkeep of the park. Your primary focus will be grounds maintenance, park presentation, and responding quickly to repair requests from both guests and park infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Grounds upkeep: Mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, and maintaining woodland trails.
- Property repairs: Handling basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical fixes across rental units and facilities.
- Siting assistance: Helping with the connection and disconnection of caravan holiday homes and lodges.
- Waste management: Emptying Park bins and keeping communal bin areas clean and tidy.
- Safety checks: Routine testing of fire alarms, emergency lighting, and water temperatures.
- Guest service: Assisting guests with maintenance queries in a friendly, professional manner.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience: Background in general maintenance, handiwork, or trade
- A current chainsaw ticket is preferred but not essential
- Problem solver: Ability to diagnose issues quickly and fix them safely.
- Drivers licence: Full, clean UK driving licence is essential for driving park vehicles.
- Team player: Happy working outdoors in all weather conditions alongside a close-knit team.
- Flexible attitude: Willingness to work a rota that includes weekends and bank holidays, especially during peak season.
