The Whitechapel Centre’s mission is to prevent and resolve homelessness, social exclusion and housing poverty by providing practical, realistic, tailored support so that each person can find a route out of homelessness, maintain a home and achieve their individual potential.
We have just been awarded funding from the Steve Morgan Foundation which will enable us to enhance the services we offer to young people through the provision of high quality housing advice, advocacy and assistance to help resolve or prevent homelessness and housing need.
We are looking for someone with first class communication and time management skills who is comfortable working in partnership with other services, professionals and stakeholders.
Experience of providing advice and support to young people about housing, substance misuse problems, care and mental health services would be a distinct advantage.
