Love sport, people and being at the heart of the action?
MyRounders is Wales' biggest adult social rounders community, with 9,000 players across 45+ leagues and we're growing. We're recruiting two League Coordinators to deliver our leagues across South Wales, one covering our West patch and one covering our East patch.
You'll be the face of MyRounders at your venues, keeping games running smoothly and our players coming back week after week. This is a hands on, out in the community role, so we're looking for people who live in or near the patch they'll be covering.
Please note: our leagues run on evenings and Sundays, so you must be available at these times. If that doesn't work for you, this won't be the right role.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating and supervising league fixtures across the venues in your patch
- Being present on evenings and Sundays to support smooth delivery of games
- Acting as the first point of contact for players, captains and umpires
- Keeping accurate records of results and making sure equipment is stocked and ready
- Completing first aid and umpire training (provided by us)
- Championing the MyRounders ethos of inclusive, social, feel good sport
- Feeding back issues, ideas and opportunities to the central team
What we're looking for
- Availability to work evenings and Sundays
- Living in or within easy reach of your chosen patch
- Your own car, a valid driving licence and business insurance
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Confidence working independently across multiple locations
- Punctuality and reliability, our players count on you
- A genuine passion for people and great communication skills
- Commitment to inclusivity and wellbeing through sport
What you'll get
- £13.00 per hour, above the Real Living Wage
- A guaranteed 16 hours per week, with more hours and opportunities available for the right person. This may include attending the Port Talbot HQ to collect stock and liaise with your line manager
- Full training, including first aid and umpiring qualifications
- A DBS check will be carried out and safeguarding training will be arranged
- The chance to be part of an award winning, fast growing organisation
- Real opportunities for personal and professional growth as we expand
