We’re looking for a proactive and organised Parts Advisor who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems and supporting operational performance.

The Role
As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for sourcing, ordering, receiving and controlling vehicle parts to support our reconditioning operation.
Working closely with technicians, production teams and suppliers, you’ll ensure the right parts are available at the right time, helping vehicles move efficiently through the workshop.
This is a hands-on role where organisation, attention to detail and a proactive approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and order vehicle parts accurately and efficiently
- Research suppliers to obtain the best combination of quality, cost and lead time
- Receive and book parts into stock accurately
- Maintain organised stock locations and warehouse standards
- Support stock control and regular stock audits
- Work closely with production teams to minimise vehicle delays
- Track outstanding parts and follow up with suppliers
- Help identify opportunities to reduce lead times and improve service levels
- Maintain accurate purchasing and administrative records
- Support continuous improvement and problem-solving activities within the department
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within automotive parts, purchasing or stock control
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good computer and administration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach to problem solving
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Experience using automotive systems would be advantageous
