Full-Time Care Assistant Position (Part-Time Options Available)
Location: Beauchamp Court Care Home, Watford
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Care Assistants at Beauchamp Court Care Home. This rewarding role involves providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care & Assistance:
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, oral care, and dressing in the morning and evening.
- Help prepare residents for bed and ensure their comfort throughout the night.
- Provide reassurance, comfort, and support to residents as needed.
- Monitoring & Reporting:
- Conduct regular checks on residents, respecting their privacy and dignity.
- Record relevant information in residents’ daily reports and handover books as directed.
- Notify senior care staff of any concerns or issues promptly.
- Emergency Response:
- Respond to call bells, assess situations, and assist residents appropriately.
- In emergencies, contact senior staff, emergency doctors, or ambulance services as needed.
- Safety & Communication:
- Welcome visitors and ensure they are directed appropriately, informing senior staff of their presence.
- Answer telephone calls, take accurate messages, and notify relevant personnel.
- Maintain the safety and security of the premises at all times.
- Teamwork & Flexibility:
- Follow daily instructions from the manager or senior care staff.
- Undertake additional duties as required to support the care home’s operations.
