About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Workers to join our team in Macclesfield. You will provide person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, or physical disabilities, helping them live fulfilling and independent lives.This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will work closely with service users to support their daily living activities, promote independence, and encourage participation in the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing high-quality, person-centred care and support
Assisting with personal care where required
Supporting individuals with daily living tasks, including meal preparation and household duties
Promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect
Accompanying service users to appointments, activities, and community outings
Maintaining accurate records and reports
Following care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
Building positive relationships with service users, families, and colleagues
Requirements
Essential:
Caring and compassionate nature
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible approach to working hours
Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
Previous experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, or similar role
