Cleaner / Housekeeper
We are looking for a reliable, conscientious and trustworthy Cleaner / Housekeeper to help maintain our home to a consistently high standard.
The role will include general cleaning, housekeeping and laundry, with an emphasis on being organised, thorough and taking pride in the home.
Main ResponsibilitiesCleaning & Housekeeping
- Regular cleaning and tidying throughout the home.
- Dusting, vacuuming and mopping floors.
- Cleaning bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks and mirrors.
- Cleaning the kitchen, including worktops, appliances and cupboards as required.
- Emptying bins and keeping the home fresh and presentable.
- Cleaning bedrooms and changing bed linen.
- General tidying and keeping rooms organised.
- Cleaning windows or other less frequent tasks when required.
- Noticing when something needs attention and dealing with it proactively.
Laundry
- Washing and drying clothes, towels and household linen.
- Sorting laundry appropriately by colour, fabric and washing requirements.
- Folding and putting away clean laundry.
- Ironing clothes and household linen as required.
- Changing and washing bed linen and towels.
- Keeping laundry areas tidy and organised.
General Housekeeping
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the home.
- Replenishing household cleaning and laundry supplies and letting us know when items are running low.
- Handling household belongings, clothing and personal items with care and discretion.
- Occasional additional housekeeping tasks as agreed.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in domestic cleaning or housekeeping.
- Reliable, punctual and well organised.
- Thorough and has excellent attention to detail.
- Trustworthy and respectful of privacy.
- Comfortable working independently and using initiative.
- Experienced with laundry and ironing.
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard.
- Friendly, professional and approachable.
- Ideally able to provide references from previous housekeeping or domestic cleaning roles.
Hours & Location
Location: Wilby - NN8 2UQ
Days: Monday and Thursday (flexible)
Start date: ASAP
Pay: From £16.00 per hour
