Jark Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-established waste recycling company to recruit a reliable and hardworking Recycling Picker/ Baler Operative. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team in a vital, hands-on role with the potential to move into a permanent position.
You must be comfortable working in a recycling/waste environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating baling machinery to compress and prepare recyclable materials
- Ensuring safe and efficient handling of waste products
- Performing routine checks and basic maintenance on machinery
- Keeping the work area clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Supporting the wider team with general site duties as needed
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be physically fit and comfortable with manual, hands-on work
- Physically fit and able to carry out repetitive heavy lifting
- Be a reliable team player with a strong work ethic
- Be willing to learn and follow safety procedures
- Monday to Friday 2.30pm - 11pm or 6am to 2.30pm
