Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing diverse menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Supervise and support kitchen staff during service, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Manage food preparation activities, including cooking, plating, and garnishing dishes to meet high standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and minimise waste through effective utilisation of ingredients
- Train new team members on food safety procedures, cooking techniques, and service standards
- Serve as a role model for professional conduct and culinary excellence within the team

- Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment
- Strong background in food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques
