TDW Distribution Ltd is a well-established and growing transport company providing reliable general haulage services throughout the UK. We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our Newport-based operation on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

The Role
As a Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out trunking and general haulage deliveries across the UK, ensuring freight is transported safely, efficiently, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing general haulage deliveries and collections.
- Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and reporting defects.
- Ensuring loads are secure and transported in accordance with legal requirements.
- Completing all relevant transport documentation accurately.
- Adhering to Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and company compliance procedures.
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
- Keeping vehicles clean and presentable.
What We're Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 1 experience preferred.
- Good understanding of UK road networks and transport regulations.
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
