Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial premises, including offices, restrooms, corridors, and communal areas, ensuring all spaces meet hygiene standards.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely to achieve optimal results.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as required.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet rolls to ensure continuous availability.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and prioritize tasks effectively to maximize productivity.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleanliness standards.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers or carpet cleaners is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for reporting issues or completing documentation accurately.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to maintaining consistent standards of hygiene.
