We are currently expanding our customer acquisition team within the utilities sector and are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as Trainee Sales Representatives across London.
This is a full-time, customer-facing opportunity ideal for motivated and confident individuals who enjoy speaking with people, working in fast-paced environments and developing a long-term career within sales and customer engagement.
No previous industry experience is required as full product and sales training will be provided from day one. This role may suit applicants with backgrounds in retail, hospitality, customer service, promotions or other customer-focused environments.
About the Role
As a Trainee Sales Representative, you will speak directly with customers within residential areas, provide information regarding available household utility services and support customers in exploring suitable options based on their needs.
This is a field-based position working across assigned locations in London as part of a growing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers through face-to-face interactions in designated areas
- Provide clear and professional information regarding products and services
- Understand customer requirements and discuss suitable options
- Generate and manage new customer enquiries
- Accurately record customer interactions and daily activity
- Work towards individual and team-based performance goals
- Continue developing product and industry knowledge through ongoing training
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not essential
- Strong communication and people skills
- Positive attitude with a motivated and professional approach
- Comfortable working independently and within a team environment
- Basic IT skills for reporting and communication purposes
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
