Weekend Till Assistant (Retail)
We are looking for two friendly and reliable Till Assistants to join our team on a Sunday. These are customer-facing, purely till-based roles, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people in a busy retail setting.
The Role
This position is focused entirely on checkout duties, ensuring customers receive fast, friendly, and accurate service.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating the till and handling cash and card payments correctly
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times
- Processing refunds and exchanges in line with store policy
- Keeping the checkout area clean, organised, and presentable
- Assisting customers with queries and directing them as needed
- Supporting the team during busy periods
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable, and confident with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable handling money and working accurately
- Calm under pressure during busy periods
- A team player with a positive attitude
Previous retail or till experience is an advantage but not essential — full training will be provided.
