Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Telehandler Driver to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating telehandlers safely and efficiently on-site, assisting with material handling and logistics. Duties
- Operate telehandlers to lift, move, and position materials across construction sites with precision and care
- Assist with loading and unloading lorries, ensuring materials are transported safely and efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections of the telehandler to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any faults promptly
- Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate material delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and material movement
- Follow all health and safety protocols to minimise risks on-site
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably within construction or logistics sectors
- Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform basic maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues
- Valid certification for operating a telehandler (e.g., CPCS or NPORS)
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety standards and procedures at all times
Pay: £19.00-£21.00 per hour
