First Choice Drainage Solutions is a growing company operating across drainage, plumbing and groundworks.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Plumber to join our team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, well-rounded plumber who can work independently and deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service across domestic and commercial properties.
The role is primarily road-based, covering London and the surrounding Home Counties, with occasional visits to our Harlow office.
The Role
As a Plumber, you will attend customer and client properties to diagnose, repair, maintain and install a range of plumbing systems.
You will work safely, efficiently and professionally, completing jobs to a high standard with minimal disruption to customers.
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out plumbing repairs, maintenance and installations across domestic and commercial properties
· Diagnose and resolve issues including leaks, burst pipes, blockages, low water pressure and faulty fixtures
· Install, repair and maintain pipework, taps, toilets, sinks, showers, water systems and associated fixtures
· Carry out planned, preventative, emergency and urgent plumbing work when required
· Assess reported faults, identify causes and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions
· Use appropriate hand and power tools to cut, assemble and install pipes and fittings
· Plan and manage your daily workload effectively to ensure appointments are met
· Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent customer service
· Complete job sheets, reports and required paperwork accurately
· Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment in a clean, safe and serviceable condition
· Follow health and safety requirements, company procedures and represent First Choice Drainage Solutions professionally
Skills & Experience
Essential Requirements
· Proven experience as a qualified or experienced Plumber
· Relevant plumbing qualification or equivalent practical experience
· Strong knowledge of domestic and commercial plumbing systems
· Good diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
· Full UK driving licence
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Professional, reliable and conscientious approach with strong attention to detail
