Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable FLT Operator to join our team, ideally with Counterbalance double handler experience.
12-hour shift, 0600-1800; 4 shifts on, 4 days off.
As an FLT Operator, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations by efficiently and safely operating a forklift to move materials and products around the facility. This is an ongoing position that offers opportunities for growth and development within our organisation.
From time to time, you will also support the team with reworking and labelling the products.
Roughly 40% repacking and 60% on the FLT.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move materials and products within the warehouse.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist with inventory management by accurately recording material movements.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Skills:
- Valid forklift operator certification is required. (Double handler experience preferred)
- Proven experience as an FLT Operator or similar role in a warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on safety.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of operating a forklift.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems is a plus.
