Hidden River Cabins is a collection of luxury log cabins set in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside, surrounded by woodland and river views. We’re looking for a Housekeeper to join our friendly and hardworking team, helping us maintain the exceptionally high standards our guests expect.
You’ll be responsible for preparing our luxury cabins, Hidden River House and our new properties as they join the Hidden River site, ensuring every guest arrives to a property that is spotlessly clean, beautifully presented and ready for their stay.

- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proud of delivering a really high standard of cleaning
- Experienced in housekeeping or cleaning (desirable but not essential)
- Able to work independently and manage your time effectively
- A driver with your own transport, as we are in a rural location
The role
Our properties are generally cleaned from 10:30am, with a clean taking up to around 4 hours, depending on the property.
The role will involve:
- Cleaning and preparing our luxury cabins and houses between guests
- Changing beds and preparing bedrooms to a high standard
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, hot tubs and living areas
- Checking that every property is presented beautifully
- Replenishing guest supplies and amenities
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damage
- Working as part of our housekeeping team to ensure properties are ready on time
We need someone who can commit to Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
There are also additional hours available for the right person, particularly during our busy periods.
