Nexa FM is a fast-growing Facilities Management company providing reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, compliance works and project support to clients across the UK.
Due to continued growth and an expanding client portfolio, we are looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team.

The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out a mixture of electrical and general building maintenance works across a varied commercial property portfolio.
Typical duties will include:
- Electrical fault finding, repairs and remedial works
- Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
- Lighting and emergency lighting repairs
- Electrical installations and alterations
- Minor power and distribution works
- General multi-skilled building maintenance
- Supporting plumbing, HVAC, mechanical and fabric-related works where competent
- Fault finding and maintenance of HVAC and air conditioning equipment where qualified
- Completing planned maintenance tasks
- Small works and project support
- Attending reactive and emergency call-outs
- Completing job sheets, photographs and supporting documentation accurately
- Liaising professionally with clients, site teams and the Nexa FM helpdesk
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should ideally hold:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
- City & Guilds electrical qualifications or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations – BS 7671
- ECS / CSCS card where applicable
- Full UK driving licence
The following would be highly advantageous:
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent
- F-Gas Category 1 qualification or equivalent
- Experience working on air conditioning, refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Experience with HVAC fault finding, servicing and planned maintenance
- Experience completing EICRs and electrical testing
- Emergency lighting experience
- Commercial facilities management experience
- Experience working across multiple commercial sites
- Plumbing experience and the ability to carry out basic plumbing repairs
- HVAC / mechanical maintenance experience
- Experience with pumps, valves, heating systems, AHUs, FCUs, split systems or similar building services equipment
- Additional building fabric or general maintenance experience
While the primary trade for this role is electrical, we are particularly interested in engineers who are genuinely multi-skilled, with additional plumbing, HVAC and ideally F-Gas experience.
What We Are Looking For

- Has a strong electrical background but is willing to undertake general multi-skilled maintenance
- Ideally has additional plumbing, HVAC and/or air conditioning experience
- Ideally holds an F-Gas qualification and has practical experience working with air conditioning or refrigeration systems
- Can fault-find and work independently
- Takes pride in the quality of their work
- Communicates professionally with clients
- Is reliable, organised and proactive
- Is comfortable working across different commercial environments
- Is willing to travel to client sites as required, including travel outside of their immediate local area
- Is flexible around occasional out-of-hours and emergency works
- Wants to develop their career within a growing company
There may occasionally be requirements for national travel and overnight stays, depending on client requirements and project locations.
