Our client based in Telford are looking to expand their team by adding experienced Punch Press Setters / Operators to their team.

As a Punch Press Operator/ Setter you will be required to:
- Load metal sheets on the machine bed;
- Operate/set the Punch Press safely, while monitoring production speed and output;
- Set up tooling, dies and program parameters based on drawings supplied;
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (such as calipers) to check tolerances;
- Willingness to be trained in other areas to become multiskilled and use other machinery such as Spot Welder, Saw and potentially Laser
- Work effectively as a team and efficiently independently.

Hours of work:
- Days - Mon to Thurs 8am to 4:30pm, Fridays 8am to 3pm
- Nights - Mon to Wed 4:30pm to 3am, Thur 4:30pm to 2am
Pay:
- Days - starting from £14
- Nights starting from £15.60
This is a temp to perm vacancy with a full permanent contract being offered after 12 full working weeks, through Swift Temps Ltd
