We are currently looking for a NVQ level 2 Qualified Pharmacy Dispenser for our branch in Bacup. You will participate in all branch processes and establish relationships with customers, patients as well as healthcare professionals. You will assist in the delivery of all pharmacy services where appropriate. You will be an ambassador for Bacup Pharmacy serving the community and interacting with customers on a day to day basis.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Dispense medicine as stated on prescriptions, maintain accurate dispensing records, ensure medication is labelled with correct drug name, strength, quantity, directions for use, patient’s name and include any additional required information.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for dispensing medicines
- Maintain dispensary equipment, ensuring it is clean, accurate and in a good state of repair
- Use the computer, ensure all information is recorded in individual patient records
- Ensure correct medication on the prescription is given to the patient, confirming the details shown on the prescription form and the label and confirming dosage instructions where appropriate
- Abide by NHS Information Governance as well as company standards of confidentiality
- Comply with all company policies, rules and procedures at all times
Experience and qualifications are essential.
Full time & Part time hours available. Monday - Friday 09:00 to 18:00

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
