Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in our care home. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a caring attitude, with experience in care environments such as care homes or home care settings. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, supporting their well-being, and ensuring they feel comfortable and respected.
Duties
- Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and respecting individual dignity and preferences.
- Support clients with mobility and daily tasks, ensuring safety at all times.
- Assist with medication and help clients adhere to their care plans.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

- Promote independence by encouraging clients to participate in activities suited to their abilities and preferences.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Good knowledge of English language skills for effective communication.
- Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Strong communication skills with an empathetic approach towards clients' needs.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or bank holidays as required.
