The Enterprise Transformation Programme is a multi-year journey focused on transforming the Haleon business building an organisation that is wired for excellence to be able to deliver our ‘Win as One’ strategy and drive growth through continuous improvement. The programme aims to strengthen the heartbeat of our business enabling us to become more agile, efficient, and innovative and is e nabled through SAP S/4HANA . The Business Process Exp ert partners with Business Process Owners and functional teams to design, govern, and continuously improve end-to-end business processes.
Detailed Responsibilities
Business Process Expert s (BPE) are responsible for shaping, measuring and continuously improving process elements to deliver business value. The role partners with the Business Process O wner ( BPO ) and other BPEs to manage the current process (including ensuring proposed changes are aligned to the intended future state ), defin e the future end ‑ to ‑ end process vision and roadmap, ensur ing high ‑ quality, well ‑ controlled and user ‑ centric processes are created , and drive the transition from current state to future state through disciplined execution, strong governance and effective change delivery. They support the BPO in maximising value delivery through rigorous performance management, adoption oversight and continuous improvement activities , to ensuring that committed benefits are realised and sustained.
The BPE needs to exhibit strong leadership, deep understanding of business processes, communication skills, stakeholde r engagement , project management abilities and commitment to continuous improvement.
Treasury Business Process Expert
The Treasury Business Process Expert will require a strong and practical understanding of Haleon’s Treasury operating model and the readiness activities being performed ahead of the Enterprise Transformation Programme. This includes the ability to assess current-state Treasury processes, identify standardisation, simplification and automation opportunities, and translate Treasury requirements into robust future-state designs across cash positioning, liquidity management, bank connectivity, payments and collections, bank account and master data governance, settlements, foreign exchange, hedging, intercompany flows, treasury accounting inputs, reporting and control activities.
The role will be expected to bring together process, systems, data and controls knowledge to ensure that Treasury design decisions are aligned with the wider Record-to-Decision framework, SAP S/4HANA enablement, existing Treasury platforms and Haleon’s governance requirements. A key focus will be ensuring that Treasury data flows are complete, controlled and decision-useful, supporting accurate financial reporting, real-time visibility, stronger risk management and effective business partnering across Finance, Technology, Tax, Commercial and external banking partners.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA, treasury management systems, bank connectivity platforms, data governance, reporting tools and transformation delivery will be an advantage, particularly where this has involved process design, migration readiness, testing, adoption, control embedding and transition from current-state to future-state ways of working.
Design Plan and Coordination:
Facilitate workshops to gather input , feedback , and socialise recommendations made with the functions /operating units to refine and finalise process design in partnership with the BPO and other BPEs .
