This is an exciting opportunity to work within the college’s SEND Support team. You will line manage a team of Learning Support Assistants and provide in class support to our students with SEND to enable them to achieve their full potential.
Essential Experience:
Must have experience of line management, be an experienced Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant, with a broad range of experience supporting young people within an educational environment. The ability to communicate professionally with staff, students and other stakeholders are integral to this role.
Your knowledge and understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and the Preparation for Adulthood framework will be important to your success in this role. You will be highly self-motivated, an excellent team player and be solution focussed.
