Responsibilities
- Install firestop systems according to industry standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure fire safety measures are integrated seamlessly.
- Inspect and verify the proper installation of fireproofing materials.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving installation issues.
- Support ongoing training and development in firestop techniques.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a firestopper.
- Knowledge of fire protection systems, materials, and installation procedures.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications or training in firestop installation (preferred).
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols.
