We are currently looking for a physically fit, competent and well organised person to join our team in the role of Warehouse Coordinator. We’re looking for someone with experience in a busy goods in/out environment who can effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-moving warehouse. This is a practical, hands-on position requiring a willingness to undertake manual tasks and support the operation wherever needed. Forklift experience is desirable, but training can be provided.
Job Description
The Warehouse Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our production factory.
This position is responsible for the dispatch of all completed jobs across multiple presses throughout the day, ensuring all goods are securely packaged and prepared for shipment.
In addition, the role includes receiving all incoming goods, booking them into the system, and generating delivery notes and packaging labels for outgoing orders.
The Warehouse Coordinator is key to maintaining organisation, supporting production flow, and ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
A Typical Day
Start of Day
- Check in with the Supervisor to review all jobs due for dispatch.
- Identify priority orders and plan the workflow for the day.
- Prepare the packing area and ensure all required materials are available.
Morning
- Begin clearing finished jobs from operators’ desks to maintain production flow.
- Perform quality control (QC) checks on completed jobs.
- Pack goods securely, ensuring correct packaging for boxes or pallets.
- Generate and apply delivery notes and shipping labels.
- Receive and sign for incoming deliveries.
Midday to Afternoon
- Continue QC and packing of completed work with a focus on same-day dispatch.
- Book in all received goods to the system to ensure stock accuracy.
- Open and label raw materials where time allows.
- Organise and store materials and laminates across both buildings.
- Oversee courier collections, including DHL parcels and pallet shipments.
- Maintain regular desk-clearing to support production teams.
- Prioritise urgent or last-minute orders for dispatch.
- Continue booking in and storing incoming goods as needed.
End of Day
- Confirm all scheduled jobs have been dispatched or flagged with the Supervisor.
- Tidy and organise the warehouse and packing areas.
- Prepare for the next day by reviewing outstanding tasks and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with the Management team daily to track and prioritise outgoing jobs.
- Oversee courier collections, including parcels and pallet shipments.
- Receive, sign for, and book in all incoming goods.
- Open, label, and store raw materials appropriately.
- Allocate suitable storage locations across both buildings.
- Conduct quality control checks prior to packing.
- Pack and dispatch all goods securely and accurately.
- Produce delivery notes and shipping labels for all outgoing orders.
Key Priorities
To maintain an efficient workflow, the following must be prioritised daily:
- Regularly clear operators’ desks of completed work to avoid production delays.
- Ensure all goods produced are quality-checked, packed, and ready for dispatch the same day where possible.
- Maintain regular communication with the Supervisor to track all due jobs.
- Confirm receipt of incoming goods (detailed processing can be completed when time allows).
- Ensure all shipments are prepared in time for courier collections.

Hours of work
To be agreed with the candidate
40-44 hours per week between 7am and 5pm Monday to Thursday.
The Business closes at 1pm on Fridays.
