Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Barista to join our team in creating delicious coffee and providing excellent customer service in our bustling coffee house.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitisation standards in the cafe
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Understanding of food safety practices to ensure a hygienic environment
