Job Title: Care Assistant
Location: Enfield, North London

Daily Rate: £110 - £130
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term / Temp-to-Perm
Are you a Care Assistant looking to transition into working in a school? We are working with an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Enfield that is looking for an experienced Care Assistant to provide dedicated one-to-one support to a student with physical and additional care needs. This could be an excellent opportunity for someone from a care, healthcare or support background who is interested in transferring their experience into an education setting.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing dedicated one-to-one support to a student throughout the school day
- Providing personal and intimate care as required
- Supporting with mobility and accessibility around the school
- Helping the student access lessons and participate in school life
- Promoting independence while providing appropriate physical and practical support
- Ensuring the student’s dignity, privacy and wellbeing are maintained at all times
- Working closely with teaching staff, the SEN team and other professionals
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience working as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or in a similar care role
- Experience providing personal or intimate care
- Experience supporting individuals with physical disabilities or additional care needs would be highly beneficial
- A genuine interest in transferring your care experience into a school environment
- A patient, caring and professional approach
- Confidence working one-to-one and building positive relationships
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Availability to work full-time from September 2026
