Bar Manager – Tottenham

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum + Performance Bonus
We’re looking for an experienced, passionate, and hands-on Pub Manager to lead our busy sports pub in the heart of Tottenham. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving business performance.
The Role
As Pub Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the venue, leading from the front to ensure excellent service, strong financial performance, and a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the pub, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Manage stock control.
- Monitor and control labour costs, wastage.
- Drive sales through promotions, live sport events, and local community engagement.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety and company procedures.
- Manage rotas and staff performance.
- Analyse weekly sales and financial reports to maximise profitability.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and operational excellence.
About You
- Previous experience managing a high-volume pub, bar, or hospitality venue.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Organised, proactive, and able to perform under pressure.
- Personal Licence Holder (preferred but not essential).
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
