The Opportunity
Looking for a role that offers more than just compliance? As a Tax Manager / Assistant Manager, you'll work with a diverse range of clients, tackle complex tax challenges, and gain valuable exposure to advisory projects, all while developing your career within a supportive and ambitious team.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Tax Manager / Assistant Manager, you'll be responsible for:

Manage a portfolio across a range of client types (e.g., owner-managed businesses, larger corporates and groups including cross border tax considerations).

Review and oversee high-quality delivery of tax returns and computations, ensuring technical accuracy and deadlines are met.

Identify risk areas, improve processes, and ensure consistent standards across the portfolio.

Spot opportunities in the client base and proactively raise them with Partners/Directors.

Translate complex tax into clear, practical advice clients understand.

Coach and support junior team members; review work and develop capability.

Contribute to a collaborative culture and help strengthen technical and service delivery standards.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

Proven experience at Manager level (minimum) in practice, with a track record across mixed tax compliance and some advisory. [RE: Job specs | Outlook]

Strong client handling skills and the confidence to manage deadlines and competing priorities.

Technically curious and commercially minded — you enjoy advising, not just filing.

Qualification such as CTA / ACA / ACCA / ATT (or qualified by experience) — depending on the level/portfolio.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

A proactive and solutions-focused approach

A commitment to delivering excellent client service
